How should I choose a web address?

An ideal domain name should be
  • Short
  • Memorable
  • Related to you or your business
  • Ideally-have-no-hypens-in-it

 
The 'phone test!
If you have a few ideas, try saying them out loud - as if telling someone over the 'phone, the easier it is to say, the more memorable it will be and more effective.

A bad example of this would be
"www [dot] this [dash] that [dash] the other [dot] co [dot] uk" .....Yuck!!

Try to avoid words that can be easily misspelled when said over the phone.
What do I do when I've found one I like and is available?

We need to know! Send us an email at support@sitessoeasy.co.uk telling us which web address you'd like us to register for you.
We also need to know your full postal address and if we don't have it already, your day and evening phone number as well as your subscription number.
If you are registering for a business, then we need to know what type of business you are: Sole trader, Private limited company (Ltd), partnership etc.
